Ferring Pharmaceuticals climate targets validated by Science Based Targets initiative
Saint-Prex, Switzerland – 15 January 2026 – Ferring Pharmaceuticals is pleased to announce that our climate targets have been formally validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the globally recognised organisation that ensures corporate greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets are aligned with international climate goals.
As a company based in Switzerland, we witness the impacts of climate change firsthand through the rapid loss of the country’s glaciers. Since 2015, Switzerland has lost a quarter of its total glacier volume – a stark reminder of the urgent need for ambitious global climate action.1
This validation underscores our ambition to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and reinforces our commitment to responsible business practices. Guided by our Purpose, People and Planet approach, we have established a robust roadmap to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
