Ferring announces changes to Board of Directors and Executive Committee
Saint-Prex, Switzerland, 16 February 2026 – Ferring Pharmaceuticals has announced changes to its Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
The Board of Directors has appointed Jean-Frédéric Paulsen as Chief Executive Officer of Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Jean-Frédéric will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board, assuming both roles to support greater operational agility and accelerate Ferring’s global transformation programme. He will be based at Ferring’s headquarters in Saint-Prex, Switzerland.
This decision reflects the Board’s commitment to strengthening the connection between strategic oversight and day-to-day execution to ensure streamlined decision-making and clearer, more direct leadership. Upon joining the Executive Committee as CEO, Jean-Frédéric will collaborate closely with its members to advance the company’s priorities, promote sustainable growth, and ensure that Ferring remains well positioned to meet the needs of patients, customers, and communities worldwide.

Luzi von Bidder retired from his position as member of the Ferring Board of Directors in December 2025. A successor will be appointed in due course. Luzi joined the Board of Directors in 2013 and also served as Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee until July 2024.
Armin Metzger, Executive Vice-President and Chief Technical Operations Officer will step down from his position at the end of March 2026. André Overmeyer has been appointed as his successor, effective 1st March 2026. André will relocate to Switzerland and will be based at the Ferring’s headquarters in Saint-Prex. André joins Ferring from Merck Life Science, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Head of Global Plant Operations. He brings extensive technical expertise and a strong track record of leadership across global technical operations.
