Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Operations Officer
André joined Ferring as Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Operations Officer on March 1, 2026. In this role he has overall responsibility for our global manufacturing and supply network, including regulatory affairs.
André previously held the post of Senior Vice President, Head of Global Plant Operations at Merck Life Science, overseeing all their production sites across the US, Europe, China and India. During a 26-year career at Merck, he also held key leadership roles managing facilities in Germany, China and Taiwan. He brings a proven track record of driving operational excellence and leading organisational transformation across diverse environments worldwide.
André trained as a bioprocess engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Hamburg University of Technology, a Master’s degree in Process Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and an Executive MBA from Hult Ashridge Executive Education.
