Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Operations Officer
Armin was appointed Chief Technical Operations Officer in March 2024 with overall responsibility for Ferring’s complex global manufacturing and supply network. From September 2025, Global Regulatory Affairs was added to his areas of responsibility.
Armin joined Ferring Pharmaceuticals in 2016 as Senior Vice President, Head of Global Pharmaceutical R&D. In 2019 he was appointed Chief Technical Operations Officer. Between April 2022 and February 2024 he served as Chief Science Officer before returning to his Technical Operations role in 2024.
He has more than 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and before joining Ferring he spent 17 years with Merck and Merck Serono in various global leadership positions.
Armin holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
