The department of Bioanalysis is involved in non-clinical and clinical bioanalysis in our projects and the department is globally responsible for bioanalytical support within Ferring. We are approximately 20 employees and our labs are located in Ørestaden, Copenhagen. The department is responsible for supporting development projects at Ferring with analyses of drug compounds, biomarkers and anti-drug antibodies in biological samples.
The essential tasks and responsibilities will be;
- Be involved in bioanalytical method development and method validation work, especially with focus on our cell based anti-drug antibody assays
- Act as Responsible Scientist for bioanalysis in support of clinical trials
- Support the role of Principal Investigator in non-clinical studies
- Potentially perform analysis of samples from non-clinical and clinical studies
The ideal candidate holds a MSc in biomedical science, analytical chemistry, or equivalent preferably with previous experience from the pharmaceutical industry. Well-documented cell-culture experience as well as experience of quantitative immunoassay analysis of drugs in biological matrices is a requirement. As some of our studies are performed in a GLP environment, previous experience with GLP will be an advantage.
In addition, the ideal candidate is an inspiring team player with good interpersonal skills. Fluency in English as well as good verbal and written communication skills are essential. Furthermore, our candidate must be keen on working in an international and multicultural environment.
