Dr. Per Cantor joined Ferring in July 2006 and is responsible for global clinical and pre-clinical research.
Prior to joining Ferring, Per held various leadership positions within R&D during a 15 year career at Eli Lilly in both Europe and the United States.
He holds a MD and a PhD degree in the field of peptide hormones from the University of Copenhagen as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Copenhagen Business School.
Mr. Alex Chang is responsible for the continued development and high performance of Ferring businesses in China, Japan, South Korea, South East Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
With a career spanning over 24 years in the global pharmaceutical industry, Alex has held positions in Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Taipei, Hong Kong and the United States. As Head of the Asia Cluster at Novartis from 2011 to October 2013, Alex led nine country operations and 2,700 employees. Prior to Novartis, he held several senior management positions for Janssen in China and Taiwan and for Bristol-Myers Squibb in China and the USA.
Alex is a graduate of the National Taiwan University and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago with a concentration in Finance.
Mr Paul Navarre is responsible for all Ferring US activities including commercial operations, clinical development and manufacturing.
Paul has more than 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceuticals and consumer goods industries. Before joining Ferring in 2017, he was President of Allergan International where he managed a $3 billion specialty care business covering dermatology, ophthalmology, urology and neurosciences. Paul began his career in consumer goods at Proctor & Gamble before moving to the company’s pharmaceutical division. During his 15 years at P&G, he held a positions of increasing responsibility in France, the USA, Switzerland, Italy and the UK.
Paul holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the ISC Paris Business School in Paris, France.
Mr Jonathan Grover heads the Global Information Technology Division, with responsibility for planning and managing the development and support of corporate information systems.
Jonathan has a Masters in Operations Research from Stanford University and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
His professional career includes over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry in various managerial positions within Information Systems.
Jonathan joined Ferring in 1999.
Alan S. Harris
Dr. Alan Harris heads the R&D Executive Office at Ferrimg HQ including Global R&D Projects and Portfolio Management for the Ferring Group. He is also responsible for portfolio planning within R&D.
Alan is responsible for early stage licensing and partnerships and is a member of the senior R&D Governance Committees at Ferring and a Board member of the Brazilian Local Board.
Alan Harris first joined Ferring in 1984.
He has a Ph.D in biopharmaceutics from Uppsala University, Sweden and a MBA from Ashridge, UK
Mr Laurent Faboux has overall responsibility for Global Quality Assurance within the Ferring Group, with accountability for Corporate Quality Standards, Quality Governance and Quality Oversight within GMPs, GCPs, GLPs and Computer Validation Standards.
Laurent joined Ferring in 2011, as Senior Director, Manufacturing Strategy & Third Party Manufacturing. His career includes roles in Site Management, Supply Chain, IS, ERP, Production, Controlling and Audit at GlaxoSmithKline, Catalent and Ernst & Young, in France and UK.
Laurent studied Finance at Audencia Business School, and participated to the Manufacturing Leadership Program, at the University of Cambridge.
Dr Keith James joined Ferring in 2012 and is the President of Ferring Research Institute in San Diego, and the Senior Vice-President R&D.
Keith has spent his career in pharmaceutical R&D, having worked 29 years for Pfizer both in Europe and the United States. Prior to joining Ferring he also held the post of Visiting Professor at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla. He has led research programs across many therapeutic areas, both delivering clinical candidates and in many cases leading these into early development.
He graduated from Imperial College in London and received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Cambridge University. He also spent two years as a NATO Research Fellow at Stanford University, California and Columbia University, New York before beginning his drug discovery career.
Marianne Kock joined Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S in December 2002.
She is globally responsible for Regulatory Affairs for the Ferring Group and furthermore is the General Manager for Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S. She also oversees development activities in China.
Marianne has more than 30 years of experience from a number of high-level positions within the pharmaceutical industry. She has worked in production, research, regulatory affairs but mostly in development.
Marianne holds a Master's Degree in Pharmacy and an executive MBA.
Edgar PJ Koster
Mr. Edgar PJ Koster is among others responsible for the Business Development group, transforming the Group Strategy into Operations and supports our Chief Operating Officer in managing Global Operations.
He has a degree in Economics and IT from the Dutch School of Economics.
Edgar held several senior management positions in Finance, M&A and Operations throughout the world during an over 20-year career in the Food and Beverage industry.
He joined Ferring in May 2003 as Senior Vice President Finance.
Dr. Armin Metzger has responsibility for designing and executing the Pharmaceutical Research and Development strategy, focusing on formulation, device and process development. He also chairs the committee responsible for portfolio management of the early pipeline.
Armin joined Ferring from Merck Serono, where he worked for 17 years in Germany, the United States, Italy and Switzerland. He started as a Laboratory Manager, working in different leadership positions in Quality Control, Analytical Development, Project Management, Pharmaceutical and Process Development, as well as in Medical Device Development and finally holding a position as Senior Vice President, Head of Global Biotech Manufacturing and Development.
Armin has a Ph.D. from the University of Bayreuth, Germany in Biochemistry followed by a Postdoc at the Medical Research Council, Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK.
Mr Edvard Philipson is responsible for the Latin American region that includes our own subsidiaries in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. In addition, he manages the "LA Exports" organisation, a network of distributors in 14 different countries in Central and South America and the Caribbean.
Edvard joined Ferring in 2005 and has more than 22 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
He holds an Economics/Finance degree from ITAM in Mexico City, an MBA from the United States International University, and participated in the Executive Management Program at INSEAD, France.
Edvard teaches marketing to industry executives.
Mr Gilles Pluntz joined Ferring in March 2004.
He has the responsibility of managing affiliates all European countries including Russia, CEE (non-European), Baltic, CIS and Israel/Cyprus. He is also a member of the Research Development Marketing Committee (RDMC) at the group level.
Before joining Ferring Gilles held a number of senior management positions throughout Europe, Middle East and the USA during a 19-year career at Merck & Co.
He graduated from Ecole des Mines de Paris in France and from Stanford University in California USA.
Mr Mike Seckler joined Ferring in 2003 as US North East Regional Director, Infertility. He was promoted to Senior Director, Global Marketing responsible for the Reproductive Health franchise in 2010 and then for the Urology/Oncology franchise in 2012. In 2013, Mike was promoted to General Manager, Ferring Canada.
Mike has a BS, Health and Human Development, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Penn State University.
Stefanie Lowey von Seckendorff
Dr Stefanie Lowey von Seckendorff is responsible for the Group’s Human Resources function. As an enabling function Human Resources supports Ferring’s sustainable growth by creating an organization which attracts the right talents, helps our employees to develop and perform at their best.
Stefanie’s career spans over 25 years in Human Resources, Consultancy, and Academia, pharmaceutical and other industries, as well as global, regional, and national jobs. She joined Ferring in 2011.
Dr Lowey von Seckendorff is graduated from the University of Trier, Germany where she studied Economic Geography. She holds a Doctor’s degree from the University of Wurzburg.
Mr Curtis McDaniel is head of the Global Commercial Legal team, is a member of the Group Operating Committee, and is Chairman of the Legal Leadership team. He joined Ferring in 2006.
Curt has spent over 25 years in the global pharmaceutical industry, supporting various aspects of the business in many different countries and cultures. He is also a writer of fiction and several of his short stories have been published.
He has a J.D. and an M.B.A. with a Finance major from Indiana University and B.A. from Purdue University.
Mr Pierre Wüst is member of the Group Operating Committee and in his function of Vice President Finance & Controlling, is responsible for the management of the Finance controlling activities across Ferring and for the support of the Executive Board in this matter.
Prior to joining Ferring in 2009, Pierre held several positions at Sandoz Pharma, Novartis and Clariant in Mexico, New Zealand, Turkey, Portugal, Indonesia and Switzerland.
Pierre holds a Master Degree in Economics from the University of Fribourg.
