The mission:  

• Develop audit programs and apply audit techniques appropriate for the scope of the audit mission
• Plan audit work  to evaluate control environments in units of varying complexity using best practice approaches and techniques
• Perform financial and operational audits according to professional standards for internal auditing
• Present audit results both verbally and in writing to management of the audited unit so they are persuasive, placed in the appropriate context and understood by the recipients
• Be adept at assessing complex activities to identify potential financial, operational and compliance risks, which warrant audit and management attention
• Report on business processes and making recommendations for improvements
• Develop conclusions on the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
• Develop relationships with people at all levels within the organization
• Engage in professional development activities, including completion of a professional certification

 Your profile:

•  University degree in Business administration
• Professional qualifications, such as CIA, CISA, CFE, CPA, CA, etc)
• Exposure to an established internal control framework (e.g. COSO) would be advantageous
• Good working knowledge of IFRS
•  6+ years working experience including Internal Audit with an internationally operating company
• Familiar with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes for solid formulations
• Experience with risk management
• Effective verbal and written communication in English. Additional languages such as French or Mandarin are beneficial
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter and team player
• Exposure to ERP software such as MS Navision or Oracle
• Knowledge of CAAT such as WinIdea, ACL
• Availability to travel (50%-70%) is a must
