Process Engineer

The mission:


As an integral part of our Pilot Plant Department, you will have to ensure customer satisfaction through the delivery of robust solutions to product/process issues for existing and new products and implementation of appropriate and innovative improvements. 

This will be achieved through the use of technical expertise, project management skills and Process Excellence tools and with full adherence to Quality and SHE compliance.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate activities on short-term technical projects, or subsections of larger projects in partnership with Process Scientist
  • Prepare, operate and maintain all Pilot Plant process equipments and assure follow-up for process utilities
  • Provide technical support as part of cross–functional project teams working on larger, complex and long term projects
  • Apply and adapt Process Excellence and other methodologies as appropriate in all problem-solving efforts and also in support of continuous improvement activity, ensuring an open approach to ideas
  • Carry out all investigation and improvement activity in accordance with GMP/GLP and ensure all company standards and regulatory requirements are fully met
  • Build support for change where improvements identified
  • Gain and maintain a general awareness of relevant technologies apply primarily to individual goals, to benefit the department
  • Gain an understanding of Process Excellence and other methodologies and apply/support wherever possible.

 

Your profile:

 

  • B Sc or Degree level in Engineering, Technical/Scientific qualification
  • Process Excellence Training is an asset
  • 2+ years experience in similar role in pharmaceutical background
  • Experience with Solid Dosage Forms (tablets, granulates, coating) is a must
  • Understanding of GMP and other Regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Organised, logical and analytical thinker
  • Result and team oriented with an pro-active work approach
  • Ability and willingness to take ownership to drive change throughout the organisation
  • Negotiation skills, tact and diplomacy are key characteristics required
  • Fluent in French and English, German is a plus.
