Ferring International PharmaScience Centre is looking for a Director for the Vendor Management department within the Clinical Development Support Unit in Non-clinical and Clinical Research & Development organisation. A centralised structure is being established in Ferring for Vendor Management to support bioanalytical, non-clinical, biometrics and clinical trial phase I to IV outsourcing activities.


YOUR EXPECTATIONS
As Director of Vendor Management, your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:
• Ensure that the Vendor Management department provides industry-leading, customer-centric, flexible, efficient, expert outsourcing and vendor management services, tailored to individual project requirements
• Continuously develop and optimise the outsourcing strategy
• Define strategy for selection of preferred providers and niche providers and establish master service agreements
• Oversee service deliverables and vendor performance in collaboration with the contract manager and contract administrator
• Standardise tools and processes
• Manage the department contract managers

OUR EXPECTATIONS
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience with vendor management and outsourcing in clinical research or has been working in a clinical research organization as business developer/contract manager. The candidate has excellent negotiation skills and a strong interest in managing a small department.
You are self-going, a team-player, logical thinker, innovative and effective problem solver. Fluency in English as well as good verbal and written communication skills are essential. Furthermore you should be keen on working in a multicultural and interdisciplinary environment.
