Bio-Technology General (Israel) Ltd. (BTG) is an integrated biopharmaceutical company located in Beer Tuvia, Israel.

Founded in 1980, it has developed a series of therapeutic products serving niche markets which are sold in approximately 45 markets worldwide. In 2005, BTG was acquired by Ferring from Savient Pharmaceuticals.

The company operates a state-of-the-art 10,000m2 cGMP manufacturing facility as well as a 2,700m2 development wing whose facilities include laboratories as well as pilot plants. The manufacturing facility has been approved by regulatory bodies worldwide, including the U.S. FDA, European Regulatory Authorities, the Israel Ministry of Health, Health Canada, the Australian TGA and others. The facility has also been approved by the Israel Standards Institute (SII) and obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification, medical device certification by the EC according to the Medical Device Directive, and ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 14001 certification for environmental management.

BTG produces biopharmaceuticals, primarily recombinant products, based on microbial fermentation and mammalian cell culture, i.e. large-scale industrial microbiology and biochemistry.
