Ferring Pharmaceutical (China) Company Limited is the Group's company in China and is registered as a wholly-owned foreign subsidiary.
In March 2003, Ferring celebrated the ground-breaking of its first production site in Asia, located in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. The inauguration ceremony was held in March 2005 and the manufacturing license obtained at the same time.
The plant is a two-storey factory equipped with multiple production lines, including non-sterile solutions, powder for oral suspension, injections and lyophilised products, which will facilitate the manufacturing of a number of Ferring products in China.
