As the development organization of Ferring Pharmaceuticals, a global pharmaceutical company, Ferring International PharmaScience Center (IPC), develop new medicines that can enhance people’s quality of life. IPC is located in a spectacular building in Copenhagen and has approximately 430 employees. We are offering a challenging position as Medical Director / Clinical Science Director in the OBGYN department within R&D Clinical & Non-Clinical Development.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Medically responsible for scientific design and/or conduct of clinical studies
- Preparation of Clinical Development Plans
- Medical input to Investigator’s Brochures, study protocols, study reports, and the clinical part of the dossier
- Medical review of clinical trial data
- Liaison with Pharmacovigilance concerning medical-safety clinical trial aspects
- Medical evaluation of research projects and in licensing projects
- Liaison with Regulatory and Marketing to ensure adequate clinical development input to their activities
- Develop/maintain relationships with external specialists
OUR EXPECTATIONS
We expect you to hold a Medial Doctor degree and to be specialist or documented experience in the therapeutic area of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Ideally, you have experience in pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of Good Clinical Practices. You have also research experience, e.g., PhD or publications in international journals. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, have good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other disciplines at all levels, both inside and outside the company. You are a focused, quality-minded and proactive problem solver and a strong team-player.
